Trainee Teaching Assistant
Trainee Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher.
This is a job opportunity through the Kickstart scheme. Only young people on universal credit aged 16 – 24 are eligible for Kickstart jobs. Please check with your work coach at the job centre before applying.
You will be required to prepare and maintain classroom resources and to supervise activities for individuals and groups inside and outside of the classroom.
You must be approachable, friendly and able to build good relationships with children and staff. As a trainee TA, you will need to be a good team player with a positive outlook and willing to use your own initiative.
You need to be reliable and have a willingness to learn.
You will be given the opportunity to train for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification via an online course.
