We have been monitoring Government guidance about how to manage the impact of the Coronavirus (Covid19) outbreak. Unfortunately, following the recent announcement by the Prime Minister it has been necessary for us to temporarily suspend Appeal Panel Hearings.
As you will be aware schools are currently closed. In addition, Independent Appeal Panel members are unpaid, trained volunteers. This unfortunately means that there will now be unavoidable delays to progressing and hearing appeals this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak. If you lodge an appeal, we will contact you with a date as soon as we are able and pending advice from the Department for Education about how Appeals are to be administered in this unprecedented time and also the timescale for when they will take place.
This information will be updated as and when Government directions are received.
In year Admissions
Parents who wish to move their child during the school year, should contact the school in the first instance and the process of application will be explained to them. The school is responsible for all applications and any subsequent appeals for places. Admission is then determined using our oversubscription criteria contained within our admission policy and adheres to the DFE published schools appeals code. Further guidance on appeals can be found via the DFE link. A copy of the application form for a school place is listed below and our appeals process.
Starting in Reception
Parents wishing to start school in Reception should refer to the Starting School booklet issued by Cheshire West and Chester Council or visit the Council’s website via the following link. Please also take time to read our admissions policy (below).
Pupil Admissions Number
Our Pupils Admissions Number (PAN) is currently 30.
