Staggered start from September

Due to Covid 19, the start and end times are as follows:

KS1 (R/Y1/Y2) 8:40-3:00

Y3&4 8:45-3:05

Y5&6- 8:50-3:10

We are operating a one-way system. Entrance is via the small gate opposite the office and exit is via the vehicle gate. The infant children enter the school via the Club door and the junior children via Canteen door. Following guidance from public health, a face covering must be worn on the premises.

Packed lunch can be brought in Y3-6. PE kit is not necessary at the moment. Belongings brought into school should be kept to essentials only- coat, sunhat, water bottle.

We have orders delivered to school every Friday with free delivery or they can deliver to your home address for an additional cost.

Ties are purchased from School at a cost of £4.00

We will be consulting on changes to our school uniform to mark the opening of Weaverham Academy. 

At Weaverham Academy we expect children to wear the following:

  • White school blouse/shirt
  • School tie
  • Navy school jumper (from Easter 2019)
  • White/black/grey socks (girls can wear black/grey tights in winter)
  • Charcoal grey trousers (boys)
  • Tartan skirts (girls)
  • Black school shoes (trainers/boots can be worn outdoors)

For PE, we ask that children wear the following:

  • White T-shirt
  • Black shorts
  • Pumps/trainers
  • Black jogging bottoms (outside games – Infants & Junior boys)
  • Black leggings (outside girls – Junior girls)

School Meals

From September 2019, Weaverham Academy have brought their schools meals service in-house.  We have been working closely with the catering staff and the children to design a new menu that is healthy and made fresh each day from locally sourced produce.

The catering facility and team offers a great range of healthy, seasonal, traditional and continental style cuisines that are affordable meals for pupils during these dining periods. Please ask any of the catering team regarding allergen advice, menu suggestions, comments and any other catering information that you require.

We encourage all parents and carers to keep up to date with the latest catering information which can be downloaded below. School meals cost £2.30

Volunteer in School

Help us to help your children.

Parents are an invaluable help, both in class and on days out, and we welcome your involvement.

It is a great way for parents to learn how we teach our pupils, and to continue this work at home as well as to be part of all the great experiences they are given on off-site visits.

As well as parents, we also welcome extended family, students and sports development officers.
