Half Term Heroes!

Well done to all in Kingfisher Class – we have completed our first half term! After two years of disrupted education, all the children have done remarkably well, settling into formal learning and trying really, really hard. Thank you to all parents and carers who came to Parents Evening; it was lovely to be able to chat with you all.

This week, we have been completing our half termly assessments and all the children have tried so hard to do their best; I am really proud of them. We have continued our English work on ‘instructions’ and explored how the clarity can affect the outcome. We continued our work on Rocks in Science and this week, we made our own trace fossils using clay.

In Music, we have started to learn the songs for our forth-coming West End worthy production of A Wriggly Nativity for Christmas. We are teaming up with Robin Class for the performance – more details to follow after the half term.

The children had a great day today and absolutely loved their end of term treat for working so hard and smashing their House Points target. We watched The Addams Family and kicked back with some yummy treats.

Have a fabulous week off – I hope you all have lots of fun, whatever you have planned.

See you soon!

Miss Bugg & Mrs Hulse
