Signs of spring and Science week
What a busy week. We have spent science week looking at anthropology and forensic science. To link with our Darwin work we designed nano robots to carry out various important tasks, deciding to write it in the style of Darwin’s diaries as an anthropologist. On Tuesday, we learned about the life cycles of sea turtles and plotted their journeys. Swan class finished the week looking at our fingerprints – how they are all unique containing whirls, arches and swirls. We took our fingerprints and used take to take fingerprints from surfaces.
In maths we revisited decimals and in English we have now written our discovery stories based on Charles Darwin. Congratulations to the pupils who achieved over and above awards for recognition by other members of staff and well done to those who received learner of the week certificates for some fabulous work this week.
