Skylark have been superb all week. At the start of the week the children completed the anti-bullying assembly and spoke about how they would respond to peer on peer abuse within school. Each child was able to recognise who they trusted to go speak to if they found themselves in a difficult situation. Each child pledged to put a stop to bullying, well done everyone!
In french this week the class learnt all about the parts of the body and how they would say and write these in french. They tested each other at the end of the class and loved practising their new language skills.
The weather didn’t stop us having a brilliant PE lesson either. We stayed warm and dry in the hall and put our gymnastic skills to the test. We stretched and folded our bodies into different shapes and Miss Burch was able to give us top tips too!
This week has also seen an end to our first William Morris project. The class have produced a repeated pattern in the style of wall paper art inspired by the victorian artist.
This week our learners of the week have achieved their awards for being consistently well mannered and brilliantly behaved around school as well as proving to ourselves and others that we can achieve anything when we put our minds to it! Well done both!
